Writing Skills:

  • Write brief essays and messages with coherent sentence structures.

Cultural Understanding:

  • Explore Chinese holidays, daily routines, and basic geographical knowledge of China.

Key Topic Proficiency:

  • Discuss school life, sports, hobbies, travel, and express preferences and decisions.

HSK Level  Outline:

Vocabulary: 1,200 words (including HSK 1-3 words)

Grammar: Complex sentence structures (e.g., conditional sentences, relative clauses), use of conjunctions (e.g., 不仅 “not only… but also”)

Listening Skills: Understanding conversations on various familiar topics, grasping main ideas and some details.

Reading Skills: Reading longer passages on familiar topics, understanding overall structure and important details.

Speaking Skills: Conversing on daily life, work, personal interests, and expressing opinions.

Writing Skills:Writing more structured paragraphs, brief reports, and expressing ideas clearly.

Cultural Knowledge: Work environment in China, Chinese dining etiquette, education system.

Key Topics: Personal life, work, education, social interactions, problem-solving.
